Berkshire sash window workshop
Bespoke sash windows, casement windows and doors are produced in-house at our sash window workshop in Reading, Berkshire. We are dedicated to producing custom made windows and doors to the highest possible standards. We can replicate any style of wooden window or period door and are specialists in double glazed sash windows. Our windows are glazed in the workshop with low-e double glazing or single glazing for conservation areas. We also paint sash windows before they leave, ensuring the work in your home causes as little disruption as possible.
Castellated, Gothic, round & other difficult sash window types that most other timber window companies can’t manage are our speciality. Accoya accredited workshop.

Liam and Paul have just fitted replacement double glazed accoya sashes in fifteen of our windows. The quality is fantastic and they are excellent replicas of the original windows - except without the drafts and condensation. Liam was really responsive to our initial enquiry and visited to measure up and also provided some good advice and guidance. They both have a real eye for detail and their craftsmanship is excellent. We changed our minds on some of the window furniture and they even dropped by and changed these free of charge. We were all working or studying from home whilst they fitted the new windows and they were really considerate. We couldn’t recommend them highly enough and we are absolutely delighted with the end product.

03/05/2018We were delighted with our sash windows. Liam and Paul refurbished the majority of windows in our house, and created new sashes to replace modern metal frames and to use in our extension. They were pleasant, extremely knowledgeable and did a great job at a great price. We have had no problem with the windows in the five years since, and they still delight us. We recommend them highly.

He was very helpful in giving us practical advice on what he thought would work and outlined in detail the options and choices that we could consider. We were delighted to find that not only was he the more experienced option, but also that the quote offered was considerably more competitive than all the other sash window specialists we saw. We went ahead and had 8 brand new sash windows fitted, and 7 existing windows fully reconditioned & draft-proofed, as well as a couple of casement windows and a balcony door refurbished. The quality of the work was outstanding and we are over the moon with the new windows - the craftsmanship and finish is excellent and the house is quieter from outside noises and was definitely warmer / less draughty over the winter! Liam and Paul were both incredibly professional and very communicative, even though we were often working from home whilst they worked they were very accommodating and kept us updated on progress. We are already planning to have them back to refurbish and double-glaze our back door and another casement window 🙂 I cannot recommend them highly enough. Thank you for everything Liam and Paul!
